Gas tank has a left side petcock opening contoured bottom and a fuel capacity of 40 gallonsbrbrThis smooth gas tank accepts a pop up type gas cap The back of the tank is stretched 2 and does not affect the mounts This gives the gas tank a cleaner more custom look Order gas cap separately Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting The tank requires sanding and primer before painting Do not grind or sand the seams or joints Check the petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy inst allation of the the petcock It is suggested to pressure test the tank and use a tank sealer We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion Note UPS may consider this part as packaged oversize for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs
